My new birdcage, actually it is a birdcage I found on craigslist. It is made of metal and quite heavy. I want to use it to house Canaries someday. Picture below shows (picture from craigslist listing) the doors open, one in the back for access to inside for cleaning. Top comes off and twists back on. I will adjust the finish to match my things when I find its permanent home.

Wow, I truly like that. It's big, but I don't mind big if it's got a great look to it. What a great find.
Yay Craigslist.
Ciao
Thanks Glenda! I think birdcages ought to BE big! ha ha!
And to find a great deal, now that is awesome! Thanks for stopping by!

Mary Ruth the bird cage is wonderful. It has lots of character and will be so pretty filled with canaries. I like the finish...it has age! Im sure it will be lovely in your new home.
Thanks Kat!
Great to see you here! I know you love birds too and I can't wait to hear mine singing!
I will spruce up the cage and get it all nice and cozy first!

Hi Mary Ruth! I found your blog through the HGTV T2T message board. Your home has such beautiful style and your knack for finding items on Craigslist is unmatched! I thought it nice that your playlist is filled with songs by Enya just like mine...I'm new to blogging. I look forward to visiting again.
I saw that you had Enya too! So glad to meet another Enya listener!
Thanks for visiting my Blog! Love yours too!
