Mary Ruth, I'm going to have to remember to come by & visit you more often. I love seeing your projects. Saw those shell prints on your other blog and WOW, I'd love to do some like that for my master bathroom. Did you order the shell prints from a certain place? In fact, I saw some online that I was interested in & they will need a square frame & of course, there are no square frames out in the stores, that I can see. I love how you made those frames out of leftover flooring. Very clever!
And those mercury glass pumpkins...those are too cute.
Hi Rhoda! I got the prints at allposters.com. I waited for a sale and free shipping! I signed up for email offers, and when the time was right I got all the Sepia photographs I wanted. They come on good photograph paper and hold up well to being framed. The left-over flooring was pretty wide, so I told DH to hold onto them! Glad I did! He routed the groove in the back to accommodate the glass and picture/matting.
The pumpkins came from Wisteria.com. I just got the new catalog in the mail and they are in there! They were a wonderful gift from my friend Chris, so they will always have great memories attached to them!
Denise! I used to live in Hull! Way back about 24 years ago for a couple of years. LOVE that area! BEST small town around! And the ocean is right there! I lived near the bay! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
Mary Ruth one of these days Im gonna get to my closet! I love your closets. Beautiful and efficient. Great job as always. I love that green linen you have in the other post! Is that the color you are considering for slipcovers?
Kat, You would not believe how it changes your life to have your closet organized! That is the one thing I will miss from this house when we move, and the first thing we will take care of in our 'next house'! I love that 'pear green' too! I love any shade of green, and yes that is what color I am considering for my slip covers for the settees!
I am almost done with the master bedding and am working on the guest bedding now. Then... off to the slipcovers! There is always 'too much' to do!
That green will be sensational in that room!! Youve been sewing up a storm. Im so looking forward to seeing the completed bedding. Yes...there is always MUCH to do. lol!
Kat, Thanks for visiting and commenting! The weather has been so wonderful that I have been outside! WE have been decluttering the yard, pruning our trees and bushes and turned on the shreader/chipper! We are glad we took the time while the weather was nice. Just finishing up a bit more before coming back inside. I did finish up a couple of pillow closures and had to hem a lot of new pants for DH's new job wardrobe.
